Box Bros Funeral Directors is proud to serve our local community, providing meticulous service, advice, emotional support and guidance when families need it most.
Established by the founder Thomas Edwin Box in Blackpool in 1915, Box Bros. Funeral Directors have gained a reputation by experience.
Our caring team are fully trained, professional, sensitive and show genuine compassion. We understand that no two funerals are the same and our aim is to provide an individual, tailored funeral service for your loved one that reflects and incorporates the personal wishes of the individual, your family and friends.

Meet the Team
Adrian Anderson
Funeral Director
Adrian has been in the Funeral Industry since 1986 and joined Funeral Partners in April 2025. In 1992, he gained his Diploma in Funeral Directing. He most enjoys helping people in his job, along with communicating and collaborating with all the professionals that he works with like vicars, priests and celebrants. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, is part of a pool team and follows Leeds United in football.
Olivia-Grace Ray
Funeral Director
Olivia-Grace has been in the Funeral Industry since June 2022 and joined Box Bros in October 2022. She previously worked in the North West Ambulance service. She most enjoys learning about and hearing all the stories about the people she looks after and says it is a privilege to take care of them. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, raising her little girl.
David Potts
Diary & Logistics Manager
David has worked in the Funeral Industry since 1990, bringing a wealth of experience to Box Bros when he joined in May 2025. He enjoys everything in his role, feeling no two days are the same and feels very honoured and privileged to work and be a part of Box Bros and the Funeral Industry. In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family and go on walks with his dog Minnie.
Andy McKnight
Mortuary Technician
Andy joined the Funeral Industry when he was 22 and has done everything from washing cars to Funeral Directing. The things he enjoys in his role is always being busy, helping the local community and working with such wonderful staff. Andy has worked in TV and even worked with Robbie Williams! In his spare time, he enjoys music, song writing and driving his Cadillac hearse to car shows.
Karen Roscoe
Mortuary Technician
Karen joined Box Brothers 3 years ago now. She was previously working in the veterinary industry. She loves everything about her role, but especially feedback from the deceased’s relatives about the presentation of their loves ones. In her spare time, she loves to ballroom dance and swim.
Kim Bonar
Office Manageress
Melanie Savage
Receptionist/Administrator
Melanie joined Funeral Partners in June 2025, having previously come from an accounts background and a previous job in a SEN school as a Teaching Assistant. She has a Level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management. She finds it very rewarding to assist families during very difficult times in their lives. In her spare time, Melanie likes to read and go to the theatre.
Michelle Neville
Receptionist
Michelle joined Box Bros Funeral Directors in January 2022, having worked previously in the care industry. She has a HNC in Social Care, NVQ 4 in Health & Social Care & Management and a NVQ 3 in Customer Service. In her role, she enjoys supporting and listening to families and making a difference at a difficult time. In her spare time, Michelle enjoys socialising, reading and travelling.
Steve Wenman
Funeral Service Operative
Steve joined the funeral industry in September 2024, previously having been with the NHS for over 20 years. He enjoys being able to give care and respect to families at some of the lowest times in their lives and taking care of their relatives. Steve has raised money for numerous charities including for hospices, veterans and the prostate and heart foundations. He has just recently been appointed as one of the region’s manual handling trainers. In his spare time, Steve scuba dives, reads, does taekwondo but mostly spends time with his children.
